Nitish Verma ("we", "us", or "our") built the FleetSync: Mileage & Service app as a privacy-focused, offline-first application. This SERVICE is provided by Nitish Verma and is intended for use "as is".
This page is used to inform website visitors and app users regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decides to use our Service.

1. Data Collection and Local Storage
We do not collect, transmit, or store your personal data on any external servers. FleetSync: Mileage & Service is built on a strict "Offline-First" architecture using a local device database (SQLite/Room persistence). All the data you enter into the app—including vehicle details, fuel logs, maintenance records, expenses, and service reminders—remains strictly on your device. You have complete ownership and control over your data.
2. Device Permissions
To respect your privacy, FleetSync operates without requesting sensitive device permissions.
No Location Access: We do not track your GPS or location data.
No Camera/Gallery Access: We do not access your photos or camera.
No Contacts Access: We do not read your contact list.
3. Telemetry and Tracking
Zero Tracking: FleetSync does not embed any third-party analytics, advertisements, or tracking scripts. We do not monitor how you use the app, nor do we collect crash reports or usage metrics in the background.
4. Local Backup and Restore
The app offers a feature to export your database to a local JSON file (fleet_backup.json). This feature is entirely offline. When you generate a backup or a PDF report, the file is saved directly to your device's local storage. It is your responsibility to safely store, transfer, or delete these exported files. We do not have access to your backups.
5. Third-Party Services & Donations
While the app itself operates entirely offline, we do offer an optional "Donate & Support" module. If you choose to support the development of this app, you may be redirected to third-party payment processors (such as Razorpay or PayPal).
Please note that these third-party payment gateways are independent entities. When making a donation, your payment details are handled securely by them, and we do not collect or store your financial information. We highly recommend reviewing the Privacy Policies of these payment processors:

We value your trust in using our app. Since all data is stored locally on your device, the security of your information relies on your device's security measures (such as screen locks, encryption, and biometric authentication). We recommend keeping your device secured and regularly backing up your app data.
7. Children’s Privacy
These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not collect personally identifiable information from anyone, including children. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we will be able to take necessary actions.
